Mammography

Dr. Caroline Reich is based in Birmingham, Alabama and specializes in mammography and neuroradiology. She attended Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia where she received her MD, PhD degrees pursuing research in the neurosciences.  She completed her radiology residency training at Emory Hospital and a neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Reich has been in practice in Birmingham since 1999 focusing primarily on mammography and neuroradiology.  She is an active member of the Society of Breast Imaging, Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society and the American College of Radiology. From 2003 to 2005, Dr. Reich served on the faculty of the Radiology Department of the Medical School of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Reich is the President and founder of Women’s Imaging Associates which provides subspecialty expertise for the interpretation of 2D and 3D mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, obstetrical and pelvic ultrasound. Since 2009, her practice has interpreted over 150,000 mammograms for OB-GYN offices, multi-specialty clinics and rural hospitals across the country.
