Honoring Cleveland’s legacy while investing in its future, Leo’s Arts & Music Collaboratory is keeping the spirit of the historic Leo’s Casino alive through music, culture, education and community connection.
Based at 1956 East 75th Street, the collaboratory offers live performances, workshops, artist development, workforce initiatives, wellness programming, media opportunities and Leo’s Casino Radio—creating a welcoming neighborhood space for residents of all ages.
Founded on a people-first commitment to inclusion and opportunity, the organization grew from Ron and Maria Fuqua’s longstanding community work through Extravagant Care Services. Their vision evolved through Leo’s Listening Parties and the launch of Leo’s Casino Radio in 2019, which shares stories from Cleveland’s music history while spotlighting local Black and Brown artists.
The organization formally adopted the name Leo’s Arts & Music Collaboratory in early 2026, clarifying that its purpose is not to recreate a gambling venue, but to preserve a cultural legacy rooted in local artists, shared experiences and neighborhood pride. Today, students from Cleveland School of the Arts perform at events, Ginn Academy students volunteer, and programs support entertainment promotion, small business, artist wellness and workforce development.
A special shoutout goes to Scott Pohlkamp of All-American Teleradiology, a longtime supporter of Leo’s Arts & Music Collaboratory. Scott recognizes the meaningful impact of bringing accessible arts and culture directly into the community, where neighbors can enjoy music, fellowship and creative opportunity close to home.
